Lebanon: new 50 000 Livres polymer note
On August 1, 2015 (Army Day) the Central Bank of Lebanon put in circulation new 50,000-livre polymer baknote commemorating of the anniversary of seventy years after the Lebanese army establishment.
Banknote signed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Mr. Riad Toufic Salameh, the First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Mr. Raed Sharaf al-Din.
Release Date: August 1, 2015.

Obverse: the military establishment appended logo with the words "Honor. Sacrifice. Fulfillment."; image of a soldier carrying a Lebanese flag; drawing of two special ink printed rippling looking at the paper from different angles so that they appear camouflage military uniform.
Reverse: view of the monument to the martyrs of the army to his right hand and drawing soldier leads military salute; drawing spike wheat tender to symbolize the military establishment; number "70" in white topped with foreign figures reported for the years "1945-2015" refers to the extended period from the date of the founding of the Lebanese army to the day.
Security attributes: the new banknote made of the material Polymer; obtrusive signs of rough texture most important parallel horizontal lines on both sides of the paper and the words "Central Bank of Lebanon," and the value of the banknote letters and numbers and the date of issuance, signature of each image of the governor of the Bank of Lebanon and vice governor and on the front face of the paper; sign obtrusive especially the blind symbolize the monetary value of the paper on the front face; window of the Polymer transparent in the midst of a fee for wheat spike on the front face and along with this window on the back of a fee for Cedar printed special ink rippling looking at the paper from different angles.
